I’m getting excited to start this up again. I know your thinking that I don’t even have all of last year up yet. Well that is just too bad. We’ll just say I was a naive beginner… ya… naivety…
I might get Septemeber and October up but November and for sure December are a wash. Sometimes you take a photo and then later decide that maybe you don’t want anyone else being privvy to it. No there are no nudes or anything else embarassing. Just the run of the mill family functions that I would rather keep family.
And now to decide everyday what to take a photo of. But not just any photo… A photo worthy of being on here. I refuse to be one of those photographers who takes a picture of a crayon everyday once I run out of ideas. Should be interesting. Maybe one of these days my son will let me take his picture again. I can hope anyways!
And what is a picture blog without a picture….

This little adventure is taking a break to allow me to play some catch up. I will be getting back into the swing of things on March 1, 2011. Until then I will be editing and posting the remainder of my 365project. Sadly it is the 23rd of January and I’ve gotten my camera out maybe 4 times this year… I’m ready to start again but know that I need this break.
I have learned so much in the past year! I know some of the photos seem repetitive and that is partly because some of them are. While I might have taken a hundred photos some days when it came right down to it they weren’t photos that I prefered to post to this little blog. Whether for privacy reasons or just because they were memories that I would rather leave for myself alone. Thank you for bearing with me and I look forward to sharing my work in March. I might even do a better job of posting regularly… I do know that changes are coming. What they will be I am not sure yet. I guess it will be a surprise to us all.
Any comments or suggestions can be left in the comments.
Most photos are available for purchase. Contact me for sizes and pricing if interested.
More of my work can be seen at Neck Deep In Chaos. Mine are the ones in focus just incase you’re wondering…
And because a post on here just isn’t complete with out a photo. This photo was actually taken in July of 2009. It is one of my favorites. I know you’re wondering why this photo. Truthfully I didn’t search this one out. I opened my folder marked favorites, put my signature on it, and uploaded it.

Just another gorgeous Iowa sunset.

My mother preparing some watermelon for lunch.

My sister, Cameron, the day before her 28th birthday…

My little sisters birthday is the 30th. We don’t miss her birthday. When we miss her birthday she doesn’t talk to us for several days, weeks, months. It really just depends on what her mood is at the time of her birthday…
This year I met my older sister, Marianne, so we could ride the rest of the journey together. Lucky for me that she lives about halfway.
I get to her house and we get going down the road… I look over at her gas guage and she is on E. Her gas light is on! She pulls into the gas and says "I don’t want you bitching all the way so I’m getting gas. Even though I have more than enough to make it there."
Ya.
So I have a thing with running out of gas. As in I have never and sure don’t want to so I keep more than enough gas in my car. Therefore I really appreciate it when other people who will be driving me do the same.
So she gets gas. Three dollars worth.
Then I notice that her tire is low. So we drive over the interstate to the next little gas station and get air in the tire.
I think we are ready to go. But I was wrong. Although my family will run their cars so close to E as to give me a stroke they will not let their cars get too dirty. So she pulls into the carwash accross the street. She pulls all her change out inserts her $2 in quarters and starts washing the car the whole time listening for the beep telling her to add more quarters for more time. The beeper never goes off. There is soap all over the car. She has seven quarters and it takes 8 to restart the machine. We search her car and our purses and can not find any more quarters. There is a change machine but the only cash money we have on us is my twenty dollar bill and her 7 quarters.
Lucky me became the owner of 19.75 in quarters.
When we got to my parents house I asked my dad if he would like to buy my quarters. He asks how much in quarters and I round up and say 20 bucks…
He says count them out.
I turn to mom and ask if I can borrow a quarter.
Dad got in trouble.
And people wonder why I usually offer to drive!!

Even more red!!! I have really enjoyed having tomatos this last month…

Just starting to turn red… and no I have nothing better to take photos of since my son has decided that clothes are optional…

I don’t know if I took this picture because my car turned over 120000 or because it was 73 on the 25 of August… Your guess is as good as mine!

More red!!
