Just the view from the end of my driveway.

There were storms to the north and south of us. Luckily that is where they stayed. The bad ones anyways. We did see some pea size hail for a minute or so but that was it.

A spoon and cutting board…

Upon moving into this house we found this cutting board in one of the cabinets. Instead of throwing it out I hung it on a nail on the front of this shelf that houses my ‘welcome wall’.

It always looked lonley up there.

That is until last spring when we were cleaning up the grove and I happened upon this spoon. I’m assuming at one point the spoon used to be part of a windchime.

I brought it in and cleaned it up and decided that the perfect spot for it would be with this cutting board.

They are easily two of my favorite things in my kitchen.

He’s got it loaded and is pushing it around the yard and driveway…

And at the end of the play day he puts it where he thinks it should go…

I can’t as that I completely agree…

My nephews 5th birthday party.

Mason just licked the frosting off… That was all he wanted.

My flowering tree is finally blooming… I think it is official that Spring has come to Iowa!!

Cute but, oh, so not practical…

I found these at an antique shop many years ago. They sat on my window sill for many years through several moves and yet somehow when we moved to this house they never really got unpacked. Then they got put in a drawer and I came across them last week and decided to put them back in their rightful place.

I know my nails look awesome!! The bouquet of dandelions don’t look too shabby either…

I can’t stand a naked bottle of dish soap so I made this cute dress to cover it up.

Not bad for a first draft. Guaranteed my next one will look a little more polished.

No special editing here! Sometimes a photo is perfect just the way it is. Literally opened my raw file in Photoshop and then added the date. This is as close to sooc as it gets.

This little sweetie is one of 3 I’ve been watching a couple afternoons a week for a couple of weeks.

She is so sweet and little… and active…

Her along with her older sister and brother plus my son give me a good run for my money…

Needless to say I sleep very well on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
