This winter seemed especially harsh since the snow has melted and we can see all the debris that usually would have blown away had there not been 20+ inches of snow covering the ground… for weeks and weeks…. and weeks…

Mason has learned how to entertain himself while we are working outside though… Can’t say as that I know what he is doing here but I do know he is not crying which is always a plus…

The little boy was wishing it was just a little warmer outside so we could go play… He settled for window watching and life cereal…

The rusty side of a flower pot…

My goal is a picture every day not always a good picture…

The Tiger Lilies are finally starting to come up beside the well house… I’m really hoping this year to see more than two blooms out of our 3 huge patches…

It was late and I was surfing the web aka playing on facebook when I remembered I hadn’t taken a photo for the day yet.

This is one of the most comfortable places in the house… My favorite comforter set… the lamp I’ve had since I was 14… the same bed set I’ve had since I was 14… and Hyde sleeping on my husband’s pillow…

It’s spring in Iowa…. That means it’s time to child proof the yard… The hog panels are going to be used to cover the goldfish pond and burn barrell… Not that the kid gets in the burn barrell but the dog does…

Hard to believe this is all the snow that is left when just 10 days ago my yard looked like this…

Now I’m just waiting for some warmer temps so that I can open the windows. Yay for spring!!

Just a few other things in my car…

Lotion, because the car is the only spot that I can put it on and know that it will work because it will be awhile before I have to wash my hands again.

Hair ties, because my hair drives me nuts while driving. Sometimes it is all my hair and sometimes it is just the front. If you ever pass by someone, or get passed by someone, driving a silver car and she has her up in the Pebbles style that is most likely me.

Gum, I have a horrible gum addiction. I always have all kinds of gum on me. If you ever ask for a piece and I tell you I don’t have any it is because I am afraid of running out. Even though that means I could have a pack in the car, in my purse, in my coat, by my bed, or in the drawer in the kitchen. My favorite flavor is spearmint but I have been known to chew actual bubble gum but only bubbalicious strawberry or grape.

I accidently went over on my gas by 4 pennies. I reach down and grab my emergency ‘cash’ and what do you know no stinkin pennies.

I did notice that it weighs enough to turn off the airbag for the passenger seat.

All that I need for a day alone. Purse, sunglasses, and the car charger for my phone.

Not that I get many of those kinds of days…
